The St Sepulchre Chapel at St Mary Magdalene’s was created in 1894-5 by Ninian Comper, the last of the great Gothic Revival architects. Visit the chapel, currently undergoing conservation, and hear experts and enthusiasts discuss Comper’s work on the chapel, his wider contribution to ecclesiastical art and architecture, and engaging new audiences with this heritage.
Panelists and speakers to include Oliver Caroe (Surveyor of the Fabric to St Paul’s Cathedral), Alan Powers (widely published author on 20th century art and design), Holly Henry (Volunteer Manager Grand Junction), and Fr Henry Everett (Vicar of St Mary Magdalene’s). Chaired by Ayla Lepine, Ahmanson Fellow in Art and Religion at the National Gallery.
