The Florence Nightingale Museum will be open for two days in February, to coincide with half-term.
At the Florence Nightingale Museum you will find out all about Nightingale; one of our greatest Victorians, the founder of modern nursing, a healthcare pioneer and also discover more about her lasting legacy. You can see the lamp she carried during the Crimean War, her medicine chest, her best-seller ‘Notes on Nursing’ and also her pet owl, Athena!
A pre-booked ticket system will be in operation, with limited tickets to enable a safe environment for all of our visitors. We will also request that visitors continue to wear a face mask or covering in the museum, for the safety and comfort of our staff and other visitors.
