Celebrate the Great British Summer at the Chrisp Street Country Fair...and this year take part in a romping, stomping ceilidh dance extravaganza featuring local band The Muckers!

Enjoy traditional games like splat the rat, pub skittles, tug of war, and welly wanging; meet the animals from Vauxhall City Farm; relax with afternoon tea or grab some pie’n’mash; browse the local craft market & have a blast on the fairground rides.

What’s a ceilidh? Good question! They’re traditional folk/country dances, with plenty of “do-si-do’s” and spinning your partner very fast by the hand...anyone can join and no experience is necessary as the caller teaches the (very simple) steps before each dance.
