This walk along the north bank of the Thames looks at how the City of London and its river are irrevocably entwined. The Thames is quite literally the liquid history of Square Mile. Bridges, hythes, pubs, lamp posts (yes, lamp posts!), art and architecture - this stretch of our urban waterway has it all.
Meet at 11am in front of Blackfriars station (north entrance on Queen Victoria Street). The walk will take approximately 2 hours and will end at Monument Tube station. For information on travel, please use Transport for London's Journey Planner.
This event is part of Totally Thames that runs from 1-30 September 2016.
