Movement for Hope and UCL Brain Repair and Rehabilitation present a dynamic evening event featuring connections between neuroscience, art and health.
An art-science evening charity event is focused on raising awareness for brain and spinal cord illnesses through arts and innovation.
The 2014 Programme Includes:
• Alexander Seifalian (TEDMED) – Nanotechnology and Regenerative Medicine – growing organs
• Leonor Goncalves – Chronic Pain + Live Music (Liquid Strings trio)
• London Contemporary Dance School – A story of diagnosis and hope
• Sarah Ezekiel – celebrity artist and Motor Neuron Disease patient-advocate – eye-gaze tech and painting
• Patrick Lewis – Dementia (Alzheimer’s Disease) and genetics + portraits/multimedia images
• Music by Josh Osho – celebrity singer-songwriter
• Stephanie Forkel – Stroke induced language loss
• Jasper Poort – Visual perception + paintings/images and projection mapping videography
