Join us as we pull our waders on and take a walk in Deptford Creek, learning about the environment and wildlife around us, as well as the horrible histories of this fascinating place!
This adventure is sure to be filled with all sorts of gruesome and shocking stories about the river and the people, plants and animals that have lived and died in the area. Marvel at mud, squirm at stories of sewage, and be disgusted by tales of death and decay.
The walk will last approximately 1.5hrs with 30 mins for preparation and washing up. Please arrive promptly for the start time.
This activity is suitable for ages 8+ only. All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. As Deptford Creek is a risky environment we would ask that there are no more than 2 children per adult for this activity.
We hope the ticket cost is accessible to all. If you can afford to make an additional donation with your ticket purchase please do so. All funds go towards our education and conservation activities.
