Join us at The Queen's Gallery, Buckingham Palace for an evening of live music once enjoyed by visitors to the famous and historic Vauxhall Gardens in the second half of the eighteenth century.
Following an introductory talk by Desmond Shawe-Taylor, Surveyor of The Queen's Pictures, students from the Royal College of Music will perform works by G. F. Handel, Charles Avison and Thomas Arne.
The evening will conclude with a private view of the exhibition Painting Paradise: The Art of the Garden and a complimentary glass of wine.
