Free FreeIn March a fire destroyed our beloved Grand Hall, a space that has been enjoyed by our community for over 120 years.
With this in mind the event on the 24th June will aim to celebrate the architecture of our old Town Hall building including the Grand Hall.
Hear from historian Aileen Reid about the history of our building’s architecture and architecture in Battersea.
We will also be joined by Imogen Long from Battersea Arts Centre’s architects, Haworth Tompkins, who will talk you through how we have restored and developed Battersea’s beautiful old town hall and some of our plans for the future.
There will be an opportunity to hear more about the rebuilding of Battersea’s Grand Hall.
