Come along to this beautiful 18th century silkweaver's home and hear Trisha Jean-Marie, Senior Planner, Conservation & Design Officer at the London Borough of Wandsworth, who will reveal the restoration plans of Mount Nod Cemetery, where many Huguenots were buried.
Trisha will bring a list of the names of those buried and pictures of the site. Even today you can see traces of the Huguenots in Wandsworth - for example in the Borough Coat of Arms where the tears of the Huguenots, representing their suffering, are featured. Tea and cake is included in the ticket price. Following on from this talk you will also be able to join a guided walk in Wandsworth to see Mount Nod and hear about the talented Huguenot feltmakes at 11am on Saturday 6th June and Saturday 22nd August.
