On the evening of Wednesday, August 1, 1962, seven individuals convened at Marilyn Monroe's residence to commemorate her recent $2 million two-picture deal with 20th Century Fox.
In the early hours of the following Sunday, August 5, her apparent suicide was reported to the police, attributed to a drug overdose. However, the reality proves more startling: Discovered unconscious by her housekeeper the previous night at 22:35, Monroe ultimately passed away at 23:40, following a late visit from a highly significant guest.
Surprisingly, the same seven people reconvened at her home on Saturday night, but news of her demise surfaced nearly 5 hours later.
What transpired during their discussions?
In this compelling and freshly crafted thriller, co-authored by Vicki McKellar and helmed by Olivier Award-winning West End and Broadway director Guy Masterson (known for "9 Circles" at Park Theatre), the narrative unravels with meticulous research, laying bare all the facts, exposing lies, debunking myths, and unveiling the shocking truth of the events during those elusive 5 hours right on the stage.
