Nestled in Blackpool, there stands a house named "Sea View." Despite its name, the sea remains elusive, hidden from sight when gazing out of every window.

In the scorching summer of 1976, Blackpool finds itself amidst an extraordinary heatwave, the driest spell the seaside town has witnessed in two centuries. The beaches are bustling with sun-seekers, and the hotels are overflowing with guests. Amidst the joyful chaos, the Webb sisters traverse the sweltering backstreets, far removed from the delights of ice creams and donkey rides. Their destination is their mother's dilapidated guest house, where she languishes upstairs, nearing the end of her life.

Following their successful collaboration on the critically acclaimed and award-winning production of "The Ferryman," Jez Butterworth, renowned for his work on "Jerusalem," joins forces with Sam Mendes, the director behind "The Lehman Trilogy," to bring "The Hills of California" to the stage in London's Harold Pinter Theatre, starting from January 27, 2024, for a limited engagement. The anticipation for "The Hills of California" tickets is palpable, so don't miss out – secure your tickets now!
