Everyone is welcome to come and join in the Mitzvah (Party!), as once again JW3 brings a brand new, traditional Jewish Pantomime to Pantoland in NW3 - GOLDIE FROCKS and the BEAR MITZVAH!
In 2023, JW3 produced the first ever Jewish Pantomime, Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Pig, which broke box office records with a sellout festive season, award nominations and 5* reviews. And so the new tradition of a Jewish Pantomime, was established and welcomed into the traditional world of Pantomime!
The bar is set high for JW3’s 2024-2025 panto season, as once again, the dream team join forces to bring the brand new Jewish fairytale GOLDIE FROCKS and the BEAR MITZVAH! to life. Comedy writer Nick Cassenbaum and producer Becky Plotneck will be bringing their Panto magic to JW3.
The world premiere of GOLDIE FROCKS and the BEAR MITZVAH tells the tale of young Goldie Frocks - the naughty east end dress maker, on her search for some lovely furry material to make her Chanukah party frock; while our cuddly 13 year old Bear just wants to celebrate his bear mitzvah (bar mitzvah)! Will their hairy paths meet over a bowl of porridge….?!
