Creekside Low Tide Walk - New Years Benefit Walk

Join us on this special one-off Low Tide Walk for a New Year wade up Deptford Creek! All staff will be donating their time to make this event possible and we ask you to make an extra donation when purchasing your tickets below. All money raised will go to the Creekside Education Trust to keep the Centre going.

A Low Tide Walk in Deptford Creek is a truly unique experience. With the help of our guides you will get down onto the river bed, explore the ecology and dive into the natural and social histories of this amazing urban space.

A Low Tide Walk takes about 2 hours, which includes putting on waders and preparing for the river, walking up and back down the river, using nets to observe the wildlife under the water, and washing waders and hands after the walk. Please arrive promptly for the time stated on the event.
