Join the LMA conservation team to explore the history of papermaking
Despite being in the digital era we are still surrounded by paper. Throughout the centuries the papermaking process changed to fulfil increasing demand and as a result many papers of different qualities have been produced. This talk describes the main changes in the papermaking production, the quality of paper and what conservators are doing to stabilise and repair the paper to delay its natural degradation.
