A programme of 4 talks through the day organised by Subterranea Britannica on Saturday April 18th at the Royal School of Mines, part of Imperial College, on Prince Consort Road, London SW7 2BP.
It includes a photographic exploration of Subterranean London by Nick Catford, Roger Thomas of English Heritage on Cold War Missile sites in the UK, David Hedges of the Durand Group on the tunnel war of the Western Front, and Rob Vernon on the challenges of working underground in the mining areas of Andalucia, in Southern Spain.
It’s open to all - admission is £22 which includes a buffet lunch.
