The sweetest of all Matthew Bourne’s Christmas treats returns to London for a limited season at Sadler’s Wells.

Nutcracker! follows Clara on a bittersweet journey starting at Dr. Dross’ Orphanage on a darkly comic Christmas Eve, and venturing through a glistening, ice-skating winter wonderland to the delectable candy kingdom, Sweetieland, influenced by the extravagant Hollywood 1930s musicals.
Tchaikovsky’s glorious score and Anthony Ward’s delectable sets and costumes combine with Bourne’s dazzling choreography to create a fresh and charmingly irreverent interpretation of the traditional Christmas favourite. Expect a sprinkling of delicious new surprises in this reinvented production for 2021.
