Science Museum

Description

One of the great Victorian era museums devoted to the history of industry and sciences.

Lots of themed galleries ranging from the early days of the industrial revolution right up to the space age and computing.

Expect lots of large original artifacts, huge steam engines, rocket engines, cars and right in the roof, a vast collection of aircraft.

Ticket prices

The museum is free to visit and most of the galleries are also free (but they're really keen on you booking tickets in advance), with charges for some exhibitions or more interactive displays.

Opening Hours

The museum is open daily from 10am to 6pm (last entry 5:15pm).

Galleries start to close 30 minutes before the museum closes.

There is also a monthly late opening for adults only typically a late Thursday in the month.
