6th Sep 1970 | An enlarged ticket hall opened on this day along with two new escalators. |
13th May 1962 | A new entrance to the tube station opened on this day - situated on York Road and is included in the new Shell office block. It reused the escalators from the Festival of Britain and later used for the BEA Waterloo helipad. |
