The bar in the main foyer, the Vivian Ellis Bar at the front of the Stalls auditorium, the Cloakroom, and the confectionery and souvenir kiosks all have step-free access.

The Stalls auditorium has level access and there are three dedicated wheelchair park spaces in Row X. Any aisle seat in the Stalls can be used for customers wishing to transfer from a wheelchair into a theatre seat.

One  accessible toilet is available at the far end of the ground level foyer on the left hand side, close to the Stalls seating.

There are further standard toilets located inside the Stalls auditorium. The Gents has step-free access and the Ladies can be accessed via 2 steps.

Hearing and vision impaired visitors

An Infra-Red audio enhancement system is available for deaf or hearing-impaired patrons. Headsets and hearing aid loops are available from the Cloakroom located in the main foyer.

In conjunction with the Producer of each show, the Adelphi Theatre hosts periodic accessible performances, including Audio-described, Captioned, BSL Interpreted and Relaxed performances.

Customers with access requirements who require continuous support throughout their visit in order to be able to attend may obtain a Personal Assistant ticket at no additional cost.

Alternatively, an additional companion ticket will be made available at the same price paid by the customer with Access requirements, subject to availability. Any additional tickets required in the suitable area will be chargeable at the standard admission rate.

Assistance Dogs

Assistance dogs are welcome in the Adelphi Theatre. The theatre staff are happy to look after your access dog for you whilst you enjoy your visit.

LT Theatre Access

The LW Access Scheme is designed for those who need additional assistance to services within their theatres.

The Scheme will make it easier for customers to book accessible seats and facilities. It will also ensure their customer-facing staff teams have the information they need in order to deliver the best possible service.

You do not have to be a member of the scheme in order to book access tickets by phone; however, joining the Scheme will allow you to:

  • Receive information on any upcoming Access Performances.
  • Receive pre-visit emails with helpful information that will ensure a smoother theatre experience.
  • Their will shortly be launching an  online access booking system. This will enable you to book all your access tickets online, including wheelchair positions and the best-accessible seats.
