About Frank Skinner:

Frank Skinner's illustrious live career commenced in 1987, when he invested £400 of his last £435 to book a room at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Just four years later, in 1991, he returned to the festival and clinched comedy's most prestigious accolade, The Perrier Award. Frank also left an indelible mark on the comedy landscape with "The Frank Skinner Show" (ITV), a program often credited with shaping the format of modern comedic chat shows.

In collaboration with David Baddiel, he co-created and presented "Fantasy Football" and "Baddiel & Skinner Unplanned," and, along with The Lightning Seeds, co-wrote the iconic football anthem "Three Lions." More recently, Frank crafted and hosted three series of "Frank Skinner’s Opinionated" for BBC2, helmed seven series of BBC1's "Room 101," and steered seven series of "Portrait/Landscape Artist of the Year" for Sky Arts.

Frank has also lent his talents to documentaries exploring a range of passions, including profiles of Muhammad Ali (BBC1), Elvis (BBC4), and an investigation into the life of George Formby (BBC4). His Absolute Radio show earned him three gold awards at the ARIAs for Best Speech Programme (2011 and 2014) and Best Entertainment/Comedy Production (2017), along with an induction into the Radio Academy Hall of Fame in December 2015.

On BBC Radio 4, Frank hosted the comedy panel show "The Rest is History" and both wrote and starred in the comedy drama series "Don’t Start," alongside Katherine Parkinson. His most recent venture, "Frank Skinner’s Poetry Podcast" with Absolute Radio, has received rave reviews. As an author, Frank has released "Dispatches from the Sofa," a compilation of his columns for The Times, and penned two autobiographies. His debut autobiography, "Frank Skinner," was the top-selling autobiography of 2002, spending 46 weeks on The Sunday Times Bestseller List. Frank's latest stand-up show, "Showbiz," embarked on a sold-out national tour and enjoyed a subsequent residency at the West End’s Garrick Theatre, where it was also sold out.
