    We are committed to helping London's schools remain open and operate safely and to help this we will be adding over 200 extra buses to our network from Monday 8 March. We will also be prioritising some of our bus services for school travel from this date. Government guidance allows for all seats to be occupied on these 'school services', doubling their capacity, which is currently limited due to necessary social distancing. These 'school services' will be clearly signed and will operate on several key routes between 0730-0900 (some routes will run until 0930) and 1430-1630 on weekdays. On designated routes 'school services' will operate on an every other bus basis. We ask that schoolchildren travelling without adults use the designated 'school services' where these are provided, to help ensure space for customers on other services.

      SHAFTESBURY AVENUE: Routes 14 19 and 38 are on diversion due to a road traffic collision. Buses towards Tottenham Court Road will miss the stop Gerrard Place/Chinatown. Use the stops Piccadilly Circus or Denmark Street.

      Road is blocked in both directions due to a collision. Bus routes 14, 19, 38 are diverting: towards Charing Cross Rd, bus stops between Trocadero Haymarket and Gerard Place / Chinatown will not be served. Towards Victoria stops between Cambridge Circus and Piccadilly Circus will not be served.

        METROPOLITAN LINE: Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 April, no service between Harrow-on-the-Hill and Aldgate. Use Chiltern Railways services between Harrow-on-the-Hill and Marylebone, however, please note that these services will not call at Rickmansworth this weekend (Metropolitan line trains stop as normal). Replacement buses operate.
