Travel disruption notes
We are committed to helping London's schools remain open and operate safely and to help this we will be adding over 200 extra buses to our network from Monday 8 March. We will also be prioritising some of our bus services for school travel from this date. Government guidance allows for all seats to be occupied on these 'school services', doubling their capacity, which is currently limited due to necessary social distancing. These 'school services' will be clearly signed and will operate on several key routes between 0730-0900 (some routes will run until 0930) and 1430-1630 on weekdays. On designated routes 'school services' will operate on an every other bus basis. We ask that schoolchildren travelling without adults use the designated 'school services' where these are provided, to help ensure space for customers on other services.
RATP DEV LONDON STRIKE: RATP Dev London bus services in parts of west, south west and north west London and parts of Surrey may be disrupted on Thursday 15 April. TfL is working hard to minimise potential disruption but customers who need to make journeys are advised to check before they travel. Industrial action would affect services from 00:01 Thursday 15 until 06:00 on Friday 16 April.
