Travel disruption notes

ELEPHANT & CASTLE UNDERGROUND STATION: From Monday 4 January until late May 2021, the Northern line ticket hall will operate as exit only every Monday to Friday between 0700 and 1000 and 1600 and 1900. This is while lift maintenance work takes place. At these times you should enter the station through the ticket hall on the opposite side of Elephant Square.

We are committed to helping London's schools remain open and operate safely and to help this 200 extra buses on our network continue to operate. We will also be prioritising some of our bus services for school travel from this date. Government guidance allows for all seats to be occupied on these 'school services', doubling their capacity, which is currently limited due to necessary social distancing. These 'school services' will be clearly signed and will operate on several key routes between 0730-0900 (some routes will run until 0930) and 1430-1630 on weekdays. On designated routes 'school services' will operate on an every other bus basis. We ask that schoolchildren travelling without adults use the designated 'school services' where these are provided, to help ensure space for customers on other services.

ST JOHNS ROAD, SW15: ROUTE 35 towards Shoreditch is on diversion via Lavender Hill and Cedars Road until approximately 17:00 Wednesday 28 April due to emergency gas works at St Johns Road and will miss the stops from 'Clapham Junction Station / The Falcon' to 'Cedars Road'.

COLDHARBOUR LANE, SW9: Due to roadworks, from 05:00 on 19 April to 22:00 on 9 May, ROUTES 35 45 and 345 eastbound buses will be diverted via Effra Road, Dulwich Road, Herne Hill and Herne Hill Road to rejoin Coldharbour Lane, missing stops from Brixton Station to Shakespeare Road.
