ELEPHANT & CASTLE UNDERGROUND STATION: From Monday 4 January until late May 2021, the Northern line ticket hall will operate as exit only every Monday to Friday between 0700 and 1000 and 1600 and 1900. This is while lift maintenance work takes place. At these times you should enter the station through the ticket hall on the opposite side of Elephant Square.

WATERLOO & CITY LINE: No service until further notice.

We are committed to helping London's schools remain open and operate safely and to help this we will be adding over 200 extra buses to our network from Monday 8 March. We will also be prioritising some of our bus services for school travel from this date. Government guidance allows for all seats to be occupied on these 'school services', doubling their capacity, which is currently limited due to necessary social distancing. These 'school services' will be clearly signed and will operate on several key routes between 0730-0900 (some routes will run until 0930) and 1430-1630 on weekdays. On designated routes 'school services' will operate on an every other bus basis. We ask that schoolchildren travelling without adults use the designated 'school services' where these are provided, to help ensure space for customers on other services.
