What We Talk About When We Talk About Anne Frank – London Tickets

A sharply provocative and darkly hilarious play, What We Talk About When We Talk About Anne Frank is adapted from Nathan Englander’s Pulitzer Prize-finalist short story. Making its UK debut at the Marylebone Theatre this autumn, it stars Joshua Malina (The West Wing) in a daring exploration of friendship, faith, and the boundaries we cross in conversation. What’s It About?

What We Talk About When We Talk About Anne Frank presents a meeting between two Jewish couples: one secular, one ultra-Orthodox. What begins as a light-hearted reunion spirals into an intense, revealing discussion about identity, politics, parenthood, and faith. Set in present-day Florida, the play tackles subjects as wide-ranging as the Holocaust, Israel, marriage, and marijuana with biting humour and unflinching honesty.
