Wassail Day at Dulwich Village Orchard

Join them for Wassail Day on Saturday 20th January, from 12pm-3pm.

London Wildlife Trust welcome the local community to awaken the apple trees to ensure a good harvest of fruit in autumn in a traditional Wassailing event.

Activities on the day will include apple inspired crafts, bird feeders, warming bread on the fire (weather permitting), pinning toast to trees (this apparently helps with a good harvest!) and more!

There'll be a tour of the orchard at 12.30pm. There'll also be live music from local folk band Larkin the Woods (timings TBC). There will also be the opportunity to purchase hot refreshments.

If the weather has been wet in the weeks leading up to the event, they would advise wearing wellies or sturdy footwear as the ground can get VERY muddy!
