About the Tower of London
Ancient fortress on the edge of the old City of London, built by the Norman conquerors of England.Still a Royal Palace, in addition to the heritage of the site with its famous white tower and traitor's gate, it also houses the Crown Jewels and numerous heritage exhibitions.
Visits usually start with a tour by the Beefeaters, then you are left to wander around the site. Visits can easily last half a day at a minimum.
