Description

Get to know the animal kingdom this Valentine’s Day as grown-ups are invited to experience the Natural History Museum after-hours in a special one-off Valentine’s Day evening.

On Thursday 14 February, visitors to the Valentine's at the Museum event can have the Museum all to themselves as they explore fascinating galleries, sip on cocktails and learn from Museum scientists as they delve into love in the animal kingdom.

The annual after-hours event offers a chance for quality time with a date or friends at the Natural History Museum. Learn Ceilidh (Scottish line dancing), join dance classes hosted by Pineapple Dance Studios, or visit science stations where guests will learn from Museum experts to love clams that survived mass extinctions, hear about the origins of Human Love, and much more.

Spend some koala-ty time and enjoy the fully stocked bar while listening to a live harpist, before heading into the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition to explore the incredible wildlife images. Exploring done, visit the Magic Memories photo booth and take home a memento from the night.

All tickets include entry to the Valentine’s event, a free digital photo from Magic Memories and entry to the sixtieth Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition.

The adult-only (18 and over) event takes place from 18:45 and finished 22:30.
