Monthly open day at The 1940s Experience

Description

A WW2-era history attraction that's open to the public once a month.

What was once the WW2 operational headquarters of the United States Air Force 8th Fighter Command is today home to The 1940s Experience.

The site offers rooms showing life in the 1940s, life during WW2, several large rooms of military hardware, and usually a number of reenactors wandering around.

There's a 1940s cafe on site as well.
