Description
This exhibition explores how our built environment contributes to our physical and mental health in both positive and negative ways.
We spend more time than ever indoors. The approaches of architects, planners and designers can have a powerful influence on our feelings of individual wellbeing and self-esteem, on our community and society, as well as on our physical health.
The exhibition will be accompanied by a new commission by architects Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners. The commission will comprise a mobile clinic, developed for and with Doctors of the World, in response to the urgent need for effective, adaptable healthcare in emergency situations and remote locations.
