Description

An exhibition exploring 140 years of social history in East London.

From young Victorian social reformers tackling the great social challenges of their day, to nights spent in air-raid shelters, and stories of 1970s working-class activism – History House will take you on a journey through 140 years of social change in the East End.

This interactive exhibition features unseen archive material from Oxford House’s archive, new short films and forgotten stories highlighting the diversity, energy and ideas of East the East End and its extraordinary communities.
