Description

All three of the Robinson brothers, Tom, Charles and William Heath Robinson were acclaimed illustrators.

This exhibition shows 60 of the brothers’ original book and magazine illustrations, many seen in public for the first time.

This illustration exhibition brings together the work of Tom, Charles and William Heath Robinson. It not only reveals the quality and range of each of brother’s work, but considers how collaboration played an important part in their artistic development.

While each artist would follow his own particular direction, often their work was to share common themes, such as fantasyland, children and the distant.
