Description

An exhibition of DANAD Design's trailblazing work from 1958–62, featuring their original furniture and surface designs.

DANAD Design was a pop-art collective, active between 1958 and 1962, who aimed to democratise their art by applying it to everyday surfaces.

DANAD Design are a forgotten link in British art and design history.

Taking the original DANAD Design 1960 show as inspiration, this world-class exhibition includes previously unseen archival material of original paintings, prints, letters, drawings and photography from the design collective and laminated art table tops.

Reproductions of original DANAD furniture will be available to buy from Paul Smith No. 9 Albemarle Street.
