Creekside Low Tide Walk

Description

A Low Tide Walk in Deptford Creek is a truly unique experience. With the help of their guides you will get down onto the river bed, explore the ecology and wade into the natural and social histories of this amazing urban space.

By observing and appreciating the variety of wildlife present in Deptford Creek they hope they can foster a greater connection between people and the urban nature around them.

A Low Tide Walk takes about 2 hours, which includes putting on waders and preparing for the river, walking up and back down the river, using nets to observe the wildlife under the water, and washing waders and hands after the walk. Please arrive promptly for the time stated on the event.

Waders and mud sticks are provided.
