This Remembrance Weekend, come and admire the War Widows Quilt and discover the work that went into creating this moving piece of collaborative art.

The War Widows Quilt is a beautiful and moving piece of art that relays the realities of war widowhood in Britain, past and present.

It was made by over 90 war widows and their families from second-hand armed forces shirts. Its squares tell moving stories of love, loss and grief that connect women across generations.
