£6Built in 1803, Upminster Windmill is one of the finest remaining smock mills in the country, and has a rich history. In 2016, a restoration project began to bring the mill back to working order, saving it from collapse.
The restoration project has now bought the mill back to working order for the first time since 1935, and it's open to the public.
Entrance to the Visitor Centre, Gardens and Grounds is free of charge, no ticket required.
Entry to the windmill needs booking in advance and £6 per adult (£2 per child)
