Church open, exhibitions, graveyard talk and tour and bell tower ringing room open.
Grade II* listed. On the site of churches since before 1170, this brick and stucco building, opened in 1822, is the best example of George Smith's 'Gothic Perpendicular' architecture. Evidence of the Norman church remains at the base of the bell tower (housing eight bells). Fine monuments, some from previous buildings. Victorian stained glass windows.
Exhibitions relating to the church building - and its history back to Medieval times.
An exhibition provided by Merton Council's Heritage and Local Studies service on "What's in a name? : The history behind Mitcham streets and properties" will be on display.
Light Refreshments are available throughout the day.

1030-1200 Bell tower ringing room open with demonstrations (NB: spiral staircase).
1300 & 1500 Introductory talk and tour around the Graveyard."
