How can vaccines help to prevent and even reverse the effects of cancer?

A panel discussion that will examine cancer immunology and how advances in vaccine technology are taking on cancer like never before.

Vaccine technology in cancer treatment has improved greatly over the past decade and our understanding of the relationship between cancer-causing viruses such as Human Papillomavirus (HPV), Hepatitis B and Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV) has come a long way. Preventative vaccines for some of these cancer-causing viruses are already in circulation.

Furthermore, development and understanding of mRNA and DNA related vaccines has been supercharged by the world’s scientific response to COVID-19, and we have a greater understanding than ever of the human body’s immune response to cancer. With some of the pharmaceutical giants turning their attention towards cancer vaccines, could we soon be able to use vaccines to treat even more types of cancer?

Join us as our expert panel discusses some of these different pathways for cancer vaccine development and research.
