£5 £5Barnet Medieval Festival is London’s only medieval festival of its kind and is dedicated to engaging people in the history of the Battle of Barnet and its significance within the Wars of the Roses.
Fought on 14th April 1471, the Battle of Barnet saw Edward IV lead his Yorkist army to victory against the Lancastrian forces led by the Earl of Warwick.
New this year will be a display on Knights on Horseback! Re-enactments of the Battle of Barnet and the Second Battle of St Albans will take place, together with firepower displays, music and dance and story-telling. The medieval market returns, together with a range of community and food and drink stalls.
