This event has finished Took place on: Friday, 18th Feb 2022

 £10

Modern day technology is rapidly evolving, while our fascination with the past is ever-increasing. But how is today’s technology shedding new light on our ancient history and allowing us to step back in time?

From uncovering lost shipwrecks through sonar and submersibles to recreating ancient architecture through immersive and cutting-edge video gaming, new technologies are allowing us to walk in the footsteps of ancient civilisations like never before.

Join our experts for live audio-visual presentations on stage and screen to show how long-hidden ancient Greek worlds can be reimagined and brought to life using techniques such as state of the art 3D scanning, laser technology and much more.

The presentations will be followed by a Q&A session to explain the significance of these technologies.
