A one-hour celebratory tour of London arts venues past, present and future, presented by the University of Westminster. This guided walk will reveal secret spaces, secret histories, secret projects and lesser known venues which faced particular struggles during the pandemic.
The experience will be interwoven with performances of poetry inspired by interviews with arts professionals during lockdown.
The event is produced in collaboration with poetry collective Live Canon, and is part of the National Lottery Funded ‘Soho Poly Project’, a campaign dedicated to the history and future of the Soho Poly, one of London’s most important post-war alternative theatres.
This event is part of the Being Human festival, the UK’s only national festival of the humanities, taking place 11–20 November 2021. For further information please see beinghumanfestival.org.
