The present Whittington stone on Highgate Hill is two hundred years old this year.

Whittington's Will is dated 5 September 1421, we are at a 600th anniversary. Can subtle references to his benefactions and executors be traced in Shakespeare's dramas? What of pantomime and London's modern streetscape? The present Whittington stone on Highgate Hill is two hundred years old this year. In a presentation chiming with Old Lord Mayor's Show Day, City Guide Lester Hillman explores the legend and myth.

Please note: Further information for joining online via Zoom will be provided to attendees by 24 hours prior to the event.

If you do not receive the details by 5pm the day before, please contact the Events Team: [email protected]
