Waterloo Remodelled

This event has finished Took place on: Friday, 22nd Oct 2021

Waterloo Uncovered present this unique exhibition offering the first chance to see a brand new and highly accurate diorama of the Battle of Waterloo.

With the support of the National Army Museum, the Royal United Services Institute and the Royal Hospital Chelsea, Waterloo Uncovered are excited to present a first look at Major General James Cowan's expansive and highly detailed new model of the Waterloo battlefield.

Given the scale of the model (which will be roughly the size of a tennis court when finished!), the exhibition will only feature the corners of the battlefield, covering Hougoumont, La Haye Sainte, Papelotte, Plancenoit and La Belle Alliance.

The model will be on display at the National Army Museum from 20 to 23 October 2021 alongside some of Waterloo Uncovered's archaeological finds from the battlefield.
