The Tin Tabernacle, Kilburn, is an iron church built to last only 5 years. It's still here and since the 1950s, inside is home to a naval ship, the TS Bicester... intrigued?

This is a fairly rare open day of the former iron church building that's now used as a London base for the Sea Cadets.

Now, the interior of the Hall has been converted into a replica Ton-class Minesweeper vessel, utilising the north and south aisles to create a series of naval rooms; a galley (kitchen) chapel, rope room, museum and armoury, with a first-floor gallery above.
