Fiery spectacle, neon sculptures, light projections and more, herald the start of Bloomsbury Festival. Outdoors and indoors, along Cromer Street, we’ll be celebrating and showcasing local, global and inspiring arts and people.

Discover kinetic tigers, marvel at neon sculptures, enjoy a procession of Bengali silk banners, become immersed in a live video projection from street artist Mohammed Ali, and be enthralled by a spectacular fire and light marble run installation by the Bureau of Silly Ideas.

This event shines a light on the local community and its many diverse cultures, and is presented in partnership with local organisations, alongside celebrations marking the 50th anniversary of the Independence of Bangladesh. With appearances from international arts companies Kinetika, Shademakers UK and Arunima Kumar Dance.

A Bloomsbury Festival Production, supported by the National Lottery Heritage fund and Camden Council.

Mohammed Ali’s live video projection is supported by St Giles Hotel, Bloomsbury Festival’s accommodation partner.
