The history of London is visible in many ways all around us with archaeological excavations providing exciting revelations from beneath us. The excavations have uncovered not only buildings and material objects but also the skeletal remains of people who lived and died in London detailing the diverse story of London. The Museum of London curates a unique collection of archaeologically derived human skeletal remains, spanning over 2,000 years. This talk will illustrate that through the examination of the skeletal remains they provide an extraordinary and fascinating insight into the life story of these past Londoner’s.
