Explore how modern architecture transformed our understanding of leisure in this panel discussion to celebrate the upcoming exhibition Charlotte Perriand: The Modern Life.

Charlotte Perriand was a pioneer of modern leisure. From large-scale architectural projects to modular furniture systems, her designs embodied modernist principles and brought leisure to the masses in a post-war era.

Starting with Perriand’s 1960s ski resort, Les Arcs, this talk brings together leading design and architectural thinkers to explore the evolution of modernist recreation and the architecture it generated: from Lina Bo Bardi’s SESC Pompéia (1977) to the Playboy Town House (1962).
