Caroline Gurney tells the story of the world's most famous clipper ship and the men who sailed on her between 1870 and 1895.

In 2012, Caroline traced over 600 living descendants from the crews of the Cutty Sark for a reunion aboard the historic ship. She has been researching the crew members ever since.

The Cutty Sark was a racing ship as well as a cargo ship, moving goods around the world. She raced in the tea trade, from China to London, and in the wool trade from New South Wales to London. In her retirement, she became a cadet training ship and now sits in a custom-built dry dock at Greenwich.
