Coronavirus: Events may be cancelled and venues closed at short notice, you are advised to check on their websites before making a trip.

At this outdoor workshop in the Royal Docks, you will learn how to mix clay dug from the borough with local industrial materials to create a unique clay body for brickmaking. Each stage of the process will be demonstrated for you to try. Work alone or team up with a partner to see how many you can make!

After the workshop you can watch a new, intimate performance made by students from University of East London about housing in the borough.

You will also be able to see a traditional clamp kiln that we have built on site being fired.
