Join Rachel M Koopmans and Leonie Seliger for a conversation about the Becket Miracle Windows.

The stained glass Miracle Windows, of which seven survive from the original series of 12 made in the 1200s, tell the stories of the 'miracles' experienced by some visitors to the shrine of Thomas Becket in Canterbury Cathedral. One of these windows is now on loan at the British Museum in the exhibition Thomas Becket: murder and the making of a saint.

In this online discussion, Rachel M Koopmans, an Associate Professor of History at York University in Toronto, and Leonie Seliger, Director of the Cathedral Studio in Canterbury, will provide insight into new research on these objects. We'll learn more about how recent conservation work on the stained glass windows, and their reassembly, has thrown new light on the interpretation of these stories.
